We raise ADGA and AGS registered Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats in Cumberland, Maine. Haymaker Farm is named after my great-great grandmother’s farm.
We participate in DHIR milk test, Linear Appraisal, and ADGA shows. We believe strongly in continuing to better the Nigerian Dwarf breed and have been very careful in selecting the lines our does come from and to whom they are bred. We are breeding for conformation and milk production, friendly personalities and beauty.
We take a holistic approach to raising our goats, and believe that knowledge about the evolution, physiology and psychology of goats is critical to keeping them happy and healthy. We use organic herbs and non-GMO feeds when possible; we do our own fecal exams so we can specifically target any parasites and not over-treat blindly.

Starting in 2021, all bucks we own will have DNA on file. All bucks sold will also have DNA filed.
Our entire herd is tested annually for CAE, CL and Johnes. Test results can be viewed here.
